Portfolio Accountant

A Portfolio Accountant’s role is to provide administrative support to the Client Associate in managing  existing client relations & also assist in initiatives to create new business opportunities. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Maintain books of account for client portfolios, including all investment transactions, accruals, and valuations.
  2. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of portfolio holdings, cash balances, and transactions with operations.
  3. Support portfolio performance analysis and assist in preparing periodic investment reports and client deliverables. 
  4. Monitoring portfolio performance across all assets held by the client monthly or as required.
  5. Record and monitor corporate actions, dividends, interest income, and capital gains/losses.
  6. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting and reporting function.
  7. Assist in regulatory and audit compliance by providing accurate financial data and documentation.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance or related field with CFP or ACCA certification.

ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

CFP or ACCA or CA-inter 

EXPERIENCE

Min. 1 year in accounting or finance or related field 

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & accounting software.  
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of investment products.

    Client Associate

    A Client Associate’s role to support the advisory team in managing client relationships, co-ordinating account activities and ensuring implementation of advice. While managing the existing clients, he/she will also be responsible for initiatives to create new business opportunities.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    1. Building strong relationships and rapport with existing clients.
    2. Ensuring coverage of the client’s financial assets across classes/geographies.
    3. Monitor client portfolios for scheduled reviews, reporting timelines, and follow-ups on key action items.
    4. Liaise with research & operations to identify investments, facilitate transactions & resolve client queries.
    5. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, mandates, and service preferences.
    6. Assist in preparing client review materials, investment summaries, portfolio reports, and presentations.
    7. Tax planning, periodic reporting of capital gains for advance tax.
    8. Ensuring compliance of existing clients as per regulatory requirements. 
    9. Identify & onboard new client relationships.

    QUALIFICATION

    • CA, CFA, PG in Finance/Economics. 
    • Bachelor’s in Finance/ Commerce/ Economics with CFP or NISM XA, XB 

    EXPERIENCE

    Min. 2 years in client management for financial products or securities or fund or asset or portfolio management

    MUST HAVE SKILLS

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client-first mindset.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

      Research Associate will be responsible to provide critical data/information/reports to support the firm’s investment decision-making process through detailed analysis of financial markets, asset classes, sectors across geographies and investment opportunities. This position requires a strong foundation in finance and economics, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

      JOB DESCRIPTION

      1. Conduct comprehensive macroeconomic, sectoral, and asset class research to support investment strategies across geographies.
      2. Analyse financial statements, economic data, and fund performance to identify trends and opportunities.
      3. Develop and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment screening tools.
      4. Prepare investment memos, research reports, and presentation materials for internal use and client engagement.
      5. Monitor market developments, central bank policies, earnings reports, and regulatory changes.
      6. Collaborate with portfolio managers, advisors, and senior analysts to support portfolio construction and asset allocation strategies across risk profiles.
      7. Maintain databases of research, market indicators, and investment universe information.
      8. Analyse and review existing client portfolios to assess performance, risk exposure, and alignment with investment objectives.
      9. Provide actionable insights and optimisation strategies based on portfolio reviews (e.g., rebalancing suggestions, risk-return analysis, asset allocation adjustments).
      10. Prepare and present portfolio review reports and investment commentary for client meetings.

      QUALIFICATION

      CA/CFA or Master’s in finance/economics with CFP/NISM XV Certification.

      EXPERIENCE

      Min. 2 years in a similar role

        Operations Associate

        Operations Associate will be responsible to implement the right processes and practices to build the Advisory business.

        JOB DESCRIPTION

        1. Core Operations:
          • Assist clients with their transactions – online & physical documentation.
          • Ensuring all transactions are reported in the software and portfolios are accurate.
          • Co-ordinating with RTA for investment feed files.
          • Onboarding new clients by ensuring documentation as per the regulatory requirements.
          • Keeping a track of the renewals of software & business licenses.
        2. Compliance:
          • Facilitate client onboarding.
          • Periodic review of client KYC & risk profile as per regulatory requirements.
          • Provide external/SEBI auditor with the necessary information as and when required.
          • Ensure annual audit report submission to SEBI & required information is provided from time to time.

        QUALIFICATION

        CA/CFA or Master’s in finance/economics with CFP/NISM XV Certification.

        EXPERIENCE

        Min. 2 years in Banking & Financial services

          JOB DESCRIPTION

          1. Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends, asset classes, sectors, and investment vehicles (equities, fixed income, alternatives, etc.).
          2. Analyse financial statements, market data, and fund performance metrics.
          3. Support the preparation of investment reports, client presentations, and strategy briefs.
          4. Track market developments, earnings releases, regulatory updates, and geopolitical events impacting investments.
          5. Assist with quantitative modelling and portfolio analysis using Excel or analytical tools.
          6. Collaborate with senior advisors on custom research requests and thought leadership content.

          QUALIFICATION

          Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commerce/ finance/economics/ business, or related quantitative field.
